Established in 1988, Bugis Street Development Pte Ltd spearheaded the development of Bugis Street.
Its vision is “To establish Bugis Street as an iconic, world renowned street shopping location in Singapore, providing a unique shopping experience and serving as a “must-visit” shopping spot for tourists.”
Directed by its experienced CEO and Founders, as well as a team of dedicated staff, Bugis Street has successfully evolved into an iconic street shopping location that continues to draw in the crowd.
Bugis Street is Singapore’s largest street shopping location with about 600 concept stores offering a wide variety of quality trendy selections at competitive prices, a popular hot spot for tourists and locals alike.
Strategically positioned, Bugis Street stands in the heart that links Bugis Junction, the Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) and the famous Kwan Im Tong Hood Che Temple.
With 19 years of retail history, Bugis Street is the destination for quality and value for money products and services. Newly re-developed and armed with an additional 600 and still expanding unique concept stores, Kopi Place and Hong Kong Café, Bugis Street repositioned itself as Singapore’s largest street shopping location.
This architecturally adventurous design aims to revive street shopping to a new platform.
High roofing structure allows natural skylight onto the street walk, giving a bright and breezy atmosphere.
Aggressive cooling and lighting systems were also developed, setting a new benchmark to the street shopping experience.
Each shop fronts a common exterior with free play of space for the interior to allow them to have their own unique retailing characteristics.
